The AUDJPY has been holds the 72.00 area as support for over 10 years.  I believe if that gives then the 55.00 area will be tested in the years to come.  You can see a Head and Shoulders pattern as well as the wedge indicated by the red and green lines.  For now, the 69.96 low needs to hold IF it is going to move higher.

AUDJPY Weekly Elliott Wave Count Update 08/06/18

Not much has changed on the AUDJPY Weekly Elliott Wave Count in the last 16 months by the looks of the chart posted on 04/16/17.

From the lows of 55.07 we have an Elliott Wave Zig - Zap up to 105.432 for a (W).  From those highs we have a double correction WXY to 72.50 for (X).  From this lows it seems we have an Elliott Wave Impulse up to 90.307 for an A wave of (Y).  From those highs we have 3 waves down for the blue circle w with consolidation for the x wave.  This should be followed by 3 more waves lower for the y wave down toward the 76.00 area to complete the B wave before higher again.

Also worth noting is the green box I have in this area.  It is obvious that they have been buying the dips in this area since Jan of 2010 and I don't know why they wouldn't be doing it again.

The weekly Elliott Wave Update for the #AUDJPY is showing a triangle.  The current move up is a of (D) of the triangle with the B wave down in progress.  I believe this current move down is circle a that is will be showing on the Daily Elliott Wave Update.

Price will need to stay above 72.45 for the count to remain valid.
